Winery Visit Outfit

To showcase New Zealand wines, Kate and William attended a wine tasting event during their tour of New Zealand in April, 2014. She recycled the main parts of the outfit she wore previously for yacht racing - jacket, jeans, and wedge shoes - for the winery tour, but replaced the casual striped top with a bit dressier one, a navy and white gingham blouse from the Gap. The tasting was held at the Amisfeld Winery near Queenstown.

Rumors had been flying that Kate might be pregnant again, and most of the publicity surrounding this visit was that her sampling the wines probably meant she wasn't.

The recreation for the Franklin Mint vinyl Kate Middleton doll consists of the same skinny jeans and navy jacket as the Nautical Outfit, with the addition of a gingham shirt. The shirt is in navy and white cotton gingham, very close fitting. It closes at the front and wrists with snaps, and has white buttons on the front. Please note that the sleeves have no buttons and are a bit shorter than usual, to fit under the jacket sleeves. The jeans are a dark wash navy denim, and are fully lined in white to prevent staining. They close at the ankles with snaps, and are open at the bottom to accept the stand. The double breasted jacket is in dark navy linen, fully lined in white, and features gold tone 'brass' buttons at the front and cuffs. The cuffs also fasten at the wrist with snaps, as does the front.
