Lobsterfest '97
LOBSTERFEST '97 REVIEW

It all started long ago when, quite by chance, people of "like minds", under the spell of Acadia got together to enjoy and appriciate her bounty and beauty. And so it began and grew to what it is today, a celebration "fest".

Hi kids, This year Lobsterfest was a little different. Lobsters were not as plentyful as past years so availability was down and the price spiraled up. As a result, turn out for Lobsterfest 97 was the lowest this decade. On the up side, traffic was down and parking was available everywhere! Even Bar Harbour. The weather was the best I've experienced visiting Maine in 30 + years. We bought sun screen and baseball style caps to protect us from the sun! Shorts and a tee shirt on top of Cadilac Moutain
