Bushnell Trophy Cam Pictures
The camera here is about 10 yards away from my target zone
(stump feeder). I have the camera about 3 feet off the ground.
Today I will raise the camera a bit higher. Also these pic's are
at the 3.0 setting, I like the 5.0 but don't need that kind of quality.
The 3.0 daytime files are easier for me to handle on my desktop.
Eventually I'd like to try to mount this up in the air on my stand
and see what the IR does there with a birds eye view.
Daytime pic's are great. This is the 3.0 setting. The 5.0
setting of course is even better. When I have pic's developed
(I use Rite Aid on line) you can zoom in on the pic's and retain
quality for an even closer shot of that buck. I'm starting my 4th
year of photo albums.
For my yearly photo albums, I do miss the white flash. I would
get great quality real color photos at night. I wish they had both
but for "what's out there" purposes and keeping the bigger guys
a little calmer, the IR obviously is the way to go.
Okay, this is probably the "washed" or "greyed out" pic's
you will get during the transition period at dawn and dusk.
This is when the camera is deciding if there is enough light for
good daytime pic's. Same thing as a flash camera using it's
flash during the transition periods. I get a couple of these
types of pic's everytime I check my cards. I understand
the reason for it, and to me it's not to big of a deal as my flash
cams did the same thing.
