The Jacobs Field Dixieland Band played, and sang for us on our way to our seats!

Well when he was a kid, Charlie used to
suck his thumb when he was under stress.
That was OK then, but when he does it now,
the players think he's giving the "Suck" signal,
and highly paid professionals that they are,
they obey the signal!

The best thing was the bus (no.9840) we rode on the way home.
It had a wonderful motor,
Frank the driver said it was an 8 cylinder Detroit Desil.
It had so much power at low RPMs, I was amazed!
I've never known anything that could
pull that much weght so effortlessly!
When we win the Lottery, I'm gonna put Detroit Desils
in every vehicle we own!
