Emerald Green Boucle Suit

When Kate, as patron of the East Anglia Children's Hospital, visited their hospice in Norfolk in January of 2017, she wore an emerald green wool/polyester/acrylic boucle suit from the British label Hobbs. It featured a collarless zip front jacket with a back peplum, and a pencil skirt. The approximately $375 suit was from 2015. She teamed it with a white silk blouse with embroidered collar.

This recreation for the Franklin Mint vinyl Kate Middleton doll repurposes Franklin Mint's Light Blue Suit from their original Diana, the People's Princess, doll. It's been dyed an emerald green and mostly relined in white. The sleeves, though, do have the original lining which picked up the green dye. I've removed the collar and replaced it with a white silk one with black embroidery, like the collar of the blouse Kate wore, and added patch pockets and a back peplum. The front also now closes at the center with snaps. Includes black pleather purse. Shown with the shoes from the Franklin Mint Kate Middleton Engagement Doll.
