Fairport Harding High School principal, Tom Fazekas spends the night in the museum with the Ghost Cat.



Harbor Holidays
Saturday, December 5th

The Grinch will be stealing gifts from the Fairport Harbor businesses and churches from
11:00 am till 4:00 pm.

The Museum and Gift Shop will also be open.

At 6:00pm the Grinch will read
"HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS"
from the top of the Lighthouse.
The Grinch and Santa Claus will then proceed to the
Village Park for the Lighting Ceremony 

Free hot chocolate and cookies.

Have your picture taken with the Grinch and
Santa Claus in the Park.

Lyle Gun: The Lyle gun is used for shooting a projectile to the beach or to
another vessel when saving lives during sea disasters, falling through the ice,
or stranded on a cliff.

  Breeches Buoy: The Breeches buoy is a crude rope-based rescue device used
to extract people from wrecked vessels, or to transport people from one
location to another in situations of danger. The breeches buoy was usually
deployed from either ship to ship, or ship to shore using a lyle gun, and
allowed single person evacuations
