Fall & Angels
My thoughts were to allow each song a different "sonic footprint"
and hoped to make a sort of "musical circle" where one story
would flow to the next.  The common theme is that every song
is about a journey in one way or another.  I tried to fill in all the colors
that i could this time... layered vocals, guitars and synths.
My wish is that the end result will please, inspire and teach you a bit
about this wonderful gift of life that we share.   Peace... alex

Welcome Home
from the very first note you will know you are hearing a tale of
an epic journey told in vivid, nearly celtic poetry set in an
exciting musical framework that arcs across
a highly charged imaginary landscape

Wrestling Blue (Maybe)
a powerful statement on heartbreak
and the way to navigate back

Fall & Angels Cover

Big Box Store
a little bit of something from the far side

Fall & Angels Cover

All the Way to Carolina
a story as big and wide as the land of smokey mountains
and outer bank told in lush cinematic detail

Fall & Angels Cover

Warrior's Heart
what can I say? it's true!

Fall & Angels Cover

Color Me
somewhere on the paint chart of life
we find each other's hue... as the days progress we find
our tints intensifiying and softening...making us all a little more
a part of the hue-man race

Fall & Angels Cover

Poison the Well
i was thinking alot  about  the innocence of youth
and idealism... but also a coffee cup that my father had
that had the phrase "never say die, up man and try"
written on it

Fall & Angels Cover

In My Baby's Arms
a wedding gift from my muse

Fall & Angels Cover

Home Tonight (written by Michael Stanley)
i heard michael sing this at the john bassette memorial
and knew it would have a place in this circle of songs
thanks to marc lee shannon for his wonderful contributions

Fall & Angels Cover

Gunfighter Smile
written a long time ago by the ohio river with a bottle
and a bic pen on a night when i was wrestling blue and losing...
that night the muse pulled me back from despair, guided me to my musical center
hovered near at the darkest hour until the morning light ...
then silently departed leaving behind a few feathers on the page
