R & D Jig Grinding was started nearly ten years ago by Don Young, a Journeyman jig grinder with over 30 years experience. Since the company's inception in 1989 Don has seen a steady increase in business nearly every year. With the development of the revolutionary shave tool remanufacturing process R & D now enjoys a customer base that spans the United States. R & D Jig Grinding was incorated in 1997.
R & D Jig Grinding is a family owned and operated business. In fact, the name comes from the initials of Don and his son Raymond, who works full-time at the shop and also serves as the Treasurer of the corporation.
