Fox's Den is the only privately owned and operated campground on the Island. Less than a mile from two public boat launch facilities, as well as shops, restaurants, and other attractions, its clean, quiet, peaceful surroundings will let you relax and make the most of your island vacation. The over 71 over-sized campsites are equipped with water and electric hook-ups, and some with sewer as well. There is also a dumping station. All sites have a picnic table and fire ring for your camping pleasure. The restrooms offer flush toilets and hot showers. There is a laundromat on the premises, as well as a fish cleaning house for the fishermen (and women). Speaking of fishermen, don't forget to stop at "The Tackle Box" located at the entrance, for your snacks, pop, ice and artificial bait before going out in search of the "big one"! Do you have a pet? Bring him to Fox's Den! Please be courteous though and keep him leashed, don't leave him unattended and clean up after him. You may make reservations starting about April 1st to spend a week (arrive on Sunday , leave the following Sunday) at Fox's Den. For Weekly and Monthly Rates please call. If you wish to spend less than a week please call as vacancies are filled on a first-come first-served basis. |
