The Mercury M100XF high performance is especially suited for the assembly as the Caddy is constructed from laser cut lite ply. DESCRIPTION: M1100G Instant is a thick gap filling viscosity that bonds to a wide variety of materials including wood, paper, cardboard, leather, fabrics, etc.

Bond times vary according to the substrates being bonded but are generally faster than normal super glues.

APPLICATIONS: Typical applications include wood trim on furniture, balsa wood bonding for hobbyists, leather accessories on shoes, fabric bows on shoes and lampshade bonding.

Other features include versatile bonding of most elastomers, metals and plastics.

USEFUL HINTS/NOTES: On elastomer bonding and some plastics, residues or release agents on surfaces should be removed by solvent wipe.

DESCRIPTION: M3500FL is a rubber-toughened cyanoacrylate adhesives that will display excellent peel and impact strength.

 Well suited to applications involving vibration, thermal shock, temperature cycling and high humidity

APPLICATIONS: Specially formulated to provide more flexible bonds than standard cyanoacrylates. T

his product can be used up to 105°C and have intermittent temperature resistance up to 125°C. It can be used to bond a wide variety of substrates including metals, plastics, rubbers, etc.

USEFUL HINTS/NOTES: Cured M3500FL may be removed from most substrates, and parts disassembled, with M68DB debonder.

 Note that It is not possible to fully remove cyanoacrylate from fabrics.

DESCRIPTION: M100XF is the result of nearly 2 years of lab work by Mercury Chemist. This work has resulted in a formulation that is among the fastest, strongest and highest quality ever available.

 M100XF is formulated with Mercury proprietary ingredients that make it a great choice for tough to bond substrates.

M100XF is a 100 cps and sets in 5 to 15 seconds and has minimal gap filling qualities and excellent wetting out features.

DESCRIPTION: Mercury MH16 is a General Activator accellerator.

It is ozone friendly and used for normal curing of cyanoacrylates, depositing a correct balance of neutralizing ions on the surface, stimulating attrition for the adhesive and preparing the surface for bonding.

APPLICATIONS: Mercury MH16 is primarily designed for fast cure of thick deposits or for post curing outside the bond line.

MH16 prevents absorption of the lower viscosity superglues into porous items. MH16 helps bridge gaps which decrease polymerization time.

USEFUL HINTS/NOTES: Mercury MH16 can be used to speed cure by brushing or spraying onto the surface, applying drop wise, the superglue and then over spraying to cure fillets such as on wire tacking jobs. Works best under repeated applications rather than one excessively large application.

DESCRIPTION: Mercury M68DB is a debonder especially formulated for Mercury CA adhesives.

It is a clear liquid with a relatively low evaporation rate that attacks and dissolves cured or uncured Instant Superglue (cyanoacrylate).

APPLICATIONS: Can be used to debond misaligned parts or clean up excess adhesive. It also is useful for removing spilled adhesives from work area. Debonds accidentally bonded skin.

USEFUL HINTS/NOTES: Mercury M68DB Debonder works best under repeated applications rather than one excessively large application.

Apply debonder, allow it to dissolve hardened superglue and repeat as necessary. Use in an inconspicuous area for testing. May attack certain plastics and remove paint or varnish.

MLT222 is slightly oil tolerant, so it will bond some ‘as received’ parts, but best results are obtained with clean substrates.

The thixotropic nature of the product prevents run off, dripping and migration after assembly. MLT222 is typically used on mounting bolts, housing screws, etc.

MLT222 prevents corrosion of assembly parts.
USEFUL HINTS/NOTES: The higher viscosity material can create a thick film when bonding uneven surfaces or large gaps.

MLT242 Blue

ML271 Red
DESCRIPTION: Mercury MLT271 Red is a single component, high strength (permanent) anaerobic thread locker.

TL71 cures when confined in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces.
APPLICATIONS: MLT271is formulated to lock metal fasteners thus preventing vibration loosening and leakage through the threads.

MLT271 is particularly suitable for larger threaded fasteners, e.g. studs and all applications where maximum strength is needed.

MLT271 prevents corrosion of assembly parts.
USEFUL HINTS/NOTES: The higher viscosity material can create a thick film when bonding uneven surfaces or large gaps.

 The Application of heat may be required to assist in removal of parts.

MRT09 retaining Compound
DESCRIPTION: Mercury MRT09 Retaining Compound is a single part, low viscosity, fast curing anaerobic resin used for bonding rigid assemblies of all types.

It can also be used effectively to increase the strength of most mechanical assemblies.
APPLICATIONS: MRT09 locks keys and splines. Eliminates backlash in worn assemblies. Locks bearings in place, preventing spin-out.

Bonds rotor to shafts in fractional and sub fractional horsepower motors. Locks bushings and sleeves in housings and on shafts.

Augments press fits. Restores the fit to worn assemblies or out-of-tolerance parts.
USEFUL HINTS/NOTE: This lower viscosity product is recommended for interference or close fitting parts where large gap filling is not required.
